SMTP

The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is the protocol used to transfer emails between servers on the Internal. It is also the protocol used when sending outgoing email to others from your email client.

Please note that your ISP will also provide an SMTP service, which you can use to send outgoing emails with (refer to their technical support for assistance). You may prefer to use this, rather than our SMTP service. The SMTP server you choose has no impact on the email address from which you are sending from.

Some ISPs will require you to send emails through their SMTP server directly. If your mail client is timing out connecting to our mail servers, please first check if your ISP allows you to send emails without going through their SMTP server.

Mail client settings

You will need to use the following settings to send mail through our SMTP service:

Hostname mail.sjkwi.com.au
Port 25 (default)
Username Your email address, e.g. [email protected]
TLS We support in-band TLS on the above ports for secure communication.
